I bought this game last weekend, I was a little uneasy about buying it even though I heard good things. Well I bought it and the opening cut scene was beautiful, a dead guy being hung upside down by a dragon never looked so fun.
I started made first character a wanderer (Now theif), I saw the opening cut scene and the first thing I thought was, I never seen a game that accually had your made character in a cut scene. I started the tutorials and thought the fightings pretty cool in this game, then I went a little further jumped off a bridge cause I was supposed to land on the ground and there was five enemys down there spread around and they lunged at me I dodged and accidently did this badass stab. He takes the blade and shoves it in their back and kicks them off his or her sword, at this point I thought fuggin awesome, different kinds of weapons do different things, like a axe will do something intirely different, then the ripose something I've never done before until yesturday, was also fuggin awesome, (ripose is when you parry somebody then attack) I need to try the axe but a theif is weak so I need to upgrade. Then the magic, I never really made a magic guy yet but you should experiment with it yourself because I'm a get in your face and kill you kinda guy. As for archers, it features a assload of bows and crossbows to use. The Crossbow is good if you plan on using it at normal distances and with the bow you can hit L1 and it will enter precition aiming which means you will have a reticle and you can zoom into your target, aim freely. I'm leaving out a lot of the details because of time so your gunna have to bear with it, so go suck it up and buy it, if you have high speed and you like to play online with PSN they have that too, you can summon people to help you with levels, you can invade anothers game, you can even challenge other players to a death match, (winner gets the souls and loser looses a soul lvl. Invading anothers game requires you to be dead in soul form, you can invade thier game kill'em all and get your body back. Helping someone in soul form can also get your body back if you successfully kill the boss but if you die your sent back to your game no penalty, and at the end of it all you are rated by the other players on your performance (S,A,B,C, etc.). I'm not gunna lie either this game is really hard in some parts and it does get frustrating but you will find yourself too addicted to the game when you realize this stop playing for about an hour talk to somebody, cause if you dont your probably gunna turn into a zombie or a crazy mad asshole. You've been warned! Must buy for people who love stabbing, multiplayer, action RPG games. 9.5 not gunna be persuaded to change it. Cause I love it and I can't wait for high speed so I can play it some more, with help. PS3 owners we get all the good sh*t!!!
